The advancement of economic development: Entrepreneurship and the growth of small businesses

Through the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP), with participation of representatives from fifteen different countries, under the program titled “Advancing Economic Prosperity: Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development,” is being conducted in the United States. It is worth mentioning that participation in this program is selected by American consulates and embassies in their respective countries.

Mr. Sirwan Ahmed Qadir, member of the Salahadin Entrepreneurship Education Center and lecturer at the College of Basic Education/University of Salahadin-Erbil, is participating as a representative of Iraq in this program. During this visit, participants visit several governmental and non-governmental organizations, small businesses, and specialists in entrepreneurship in America to become more familiar with the strategies, working methods, encouragement, and support for small businesses, entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurs in that country.
