Introduction:
The College of Basic Education at Salahaddin University-Erbil has made significant efforts to align its academic and extracurricular activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This report outlines key activities undertaken in alignment with three critical Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The initiatives detailed herein represent a commitment to promoting global well-being, fostering inclusive and equitable learning, and addressing the urgent challenges of climate change. These activities, spanning symposia, workshops, and seminars, demonstrate a multi-faceted approach to advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
SDG3: Good Health and Well-being.
Symposium: “From Sanitation to Health Equity. “This event focused on the critical link between sanitation practices and achieving health equity. It served as a platform for discussion on how improved sanitation infrastructure and hygiene education can reduce preventable diseases and promote a healthier society.
SDG4: Quality Education.
The College of Basic Education conducted several initiatives that directly contribute to lifelong learning and educational outreach.
The College has been highly active in promoting quality education and lifelong learning through symposiums, seminars, and workshops. Activities included discussions on national education policies, ethics of artificial intelligence in learning, digital literacy in financial transactions, civic responsibility of university students, and the societal impact of census data. These initiatives contribute to raising awareness, fostering innovation, and empowering both students and faculty members to participate actively in knowledge creation and dissemination.
Symposium on Political and Economic Implications: A panel discussed the impact of natural resources on the decision-making process for an independence referendum, as well as the political and economic implications of the 2024 population census for the Kurdistan Region. These events provided a forum for public discourse and lifelong learning on topics of significant local relevance.
Workshops and Seminars on Contemporary Issues: A workshop on “The ethics of artificial intelligence in the teaching process: Balancing creativity and responsibility” addressed the evolving landscape of education and the need for ethical integration of new technologies. A seminar on “Digitization of financial transactions and My Account process” focused on practical skills for lifelong learning. Other seminars on “The duties and responsibilities of University Professors,” “Imperfective aspect in Kurdish Language, a typological research,” and “Basic Education and Curriculum in Canada” contributed to professional development and broadened educational perspectives. A workshop titled “Pioneering Education Course for Kurdistan University Teachers Ends” also focused on professional development and education outreach.
SDG13:(Climate Action)
Symposium: “Climate change and its impact on sustainable development in the Kurdistan Region, problems and solutions.” This event focused on integrating climate-related awareness into the curriculum, conducting environmental campaigns, and increasing the awareness of sustainability and ecological responsibility.

چالاکییەکان
-تەندروستی باش و خۆشگوزەرانی SDG 3
کۆڕبەندی زانستی: “لە تەندروستی گشتییەوە بۆ یەکسانیی تەندروستی” ئەم بۆنەیە سەرنجی خستە سەر پەیوەندی گرنگی نێوان پاکوخاوێنی و گەیشتن بە یەکسانیی تەندروستی. وەک سەکۆیەک خزمەتی کرد بۆ گفتوگۆکردن لەسەر ئەوەی کە چۆن ژێرخانی باشی پاکوخاوێنی و پەروەردەی تەندروستی دەتوانن نەخۆشییە پێشگیریکراوەکان کەم بکەنەوە و کۆمەڵگەیەکی تەندروستتر پەرە پێ بدەن.
-پەروەردەی کوالیتی SDG 4
کۆڕبەندی زانستی لەسەر لێکەوتە سیاسی و ئابوورییەکان: پانێلێک گفتوگۆی لەسەر کاریگەریی سەرچاوە سروشتییەکان لەسەر پڕۆسەی بڕیاردان بۆ ڕیفراندۆمی سەربەخۆیی کرد، هەروەها لێکەوتە سیاسی و ئابوورییەکانی سەرژمێریی دانیشتوانی ٢٠٢٤ بۆ هەرێمی کوردستان. ئەم بۆنانە سەکۆیەکیان دابین کرد بۆ گفتوگۆی گشتی و فێربوونی بەردەوام لەسەر بابەتگەلێکی پەیوەندیدار بە ناوچەکە.
وۆرکشۆپ و سیمینار لەسەر بابەتە هاوچەرخەکان: وۆرکشۆپێک لەسەر “ڕەوشتی زیرەکیی دەستکرد لە پڕۆسەی فێرکردندا: هاوسەنگکردنی داهێنان و بەرپرسیارێتی” سەرنجی خستە سەر دیمەنی گۆڕاوی پەروەردە و پێویستیی یەکخستنی ڕەوشتی تەکنەلۆژیا نوێیەکان. سیمینارێک لەسەر “دیجیتاڵکردنی مامەڵە داراییەکان و پڕۆسەی هەژمارەکەی من” سەرنجی خستە سەر شارەزاییە کردارییەکان بۆ فێربوونی بەردەوام. سیمینارەکانی دیکە لەسەر “ئەرک و بەرپرسیارێتییەکانی مامۆستایانی زانکۆ”، “کردەی تەواونەکراو لە زمانی کوردیدا، لێکۆڵینەوەیەکی جۆرناسیانەی شێوەزارەکانی کوردی”، و “پەروەردەی بنەڕەتی و پڕۆگرامی خوێندن لە کەنەدا” بەشدارییان کرد لە گەشەپێدانی پیشەیی و فراوانکردنی ڕوانگەی پەروەردەیی. هەروەها وۆرکشۆپێک بە ناوی “کۆتاییهاتنی خولی پەروەردەی پێشەنگ بۆ مامۆستایانی زانکۆکانی کوردستان” سەرنجی خستە سەر گەشەپێدانی پیشەیی و چالاکییەکانی پەروەردە لە دەرەوەی کەمپەس.

سیمینار لەسەر بابەتی کەشوهەوا: کۆڕبەندی زانستی “گۆڕانی کەشوهەوا و کاریگەریی لەسەر گەشەپێدانی بەردەوام لە هەرێمی کوردستان، گرفت و چارەسەرەکان.” ئەم بۆنەیە سەرنجی خستە سەر یەکخستنی هۆشیاریی پەیوەندیدار بە کەشوهەوا لە پڕۆگرامی خوێندندا، ئەنجامدانی کەمپەینی ژینگەیی، و زیادکردنی هۆشیاری لەبارەی بەردەوامبوون و بەرپرسیارێتیی ژینگەیی.
ئەنجامەکان
ئەم چالاکییانە چەندین ئەنجامی گرنگیان لێکەوتەوە. کۆڕبەندی زانستی و سیمینارەکان بە سەرکەوتوویی ئاسانکارییان کرد بۆ هاوبەشکردنی زانیاری و بەشدارییەکی فیکرییان لەسەر بابەتە گرنگەکان دروست کرد، لە تەندروستی گشتییەوە تا دینامیکییەتی سیاسیی ناوچەکە. وۆرکشۆپ و سیمینارەکان ڕاهێنانی پیشەیی و گەشەپێدانی شارەزاییان دابین کرد، کە بە شێوەیەکی ڕاستەوخۆ بەشدار بوون لە فێربوونی بەردەوام. هەروەها چالاکییەکان هاوکارییەکانیان لەگەڵ دامەزراوە تەندروستییەکان بەهێز کرد و پەروەردەیان لە دەرەوەی ژینگەی کەمپەسی نەریتی پەرە پێدا. بە یەکخستنی لایەنەکانی بەردەوامبوون لە گفتوگۆ و بۆنە ئەکادیمییەکاندا، دەستپێشخەرییەکان هۆشیارییان بەرز کردەوە و توانایان لە نێوان خوێندکاران، ئەکادیمیستەکان، و خەڵکی گشتیدا دروست کرد.
